How to remove glitter polish easy and fast...

Hello, my dear readers! I am so happy to know that every day more and more people join my blog! I hope you will find something new here!

Today i want to share with you tips how to remove glitter polish. As a big fan of glitters i was looking for the way how to remove them fast, as far as you know it takes lots of time and that is not fun a t all.

Here is my glitter nails which i made about a week ago, I applied base coat+3 coats of Essie polish+top coat+glitters+ some bullions and rhinestones = tons of polish+nail art ;-) and i want to show you how fast and easy to get rid of it!!!!

So here is what you will need for it:

1. Nail polish remover ( i prefer with acetone, because it works faster)

2. Cotton rounds ( or cotton balls)

3. Kitchen foil ( actually any kind of foil will work just fine). For my short nails about 2 inches height is more than enough.

Step # 1. Take 3 cotton rounds.  Cut each of them on 4 pieces. Each quarter for 1 finger nail.

Step # 2. Pour nail polish remover in each piece.

Step #3. Stick the quarter of cotton round on your nail. Push it a little bit .

Step #4. Wrap the foil around the nail, that cotton round stick to the nail. I did all the nails together, but if it would be uncomfortable for you try to do one hand and after another.
It reminds me Edvard Scissorhands,lol

Thanks hubby, for the pictures!

Step#5. Wait for 5-6 minutes.

Step#6. Pull the foil off.

It comes off really easy, you even don't need to press it hard.

For the rhinestones 6 minutes wasn't enough, but it was way easier to remove them, i think if to leave the foil for about 10 minutes it would be even better, i will try next time and let you know.

Done! Super easy and super fast!!!!

Do you have your own way of removing glitter? I will be glad to know about it! And share you experience if you try this way!

  3. I do the same for my nails! And don't forget to moisturize your nails after that :) In my case, I use pure olive oil on and under my nails and leave it overnight.

  5. Girls, you will be amazed how easy and fast this works! If you like to use micro beads(bullions) it will help too...

Bunny nails, you right about moisturizing, it is very important and olive oil is natural way to give some vitamins to your nails, its such a magic product! i never try it to leave overnight, but i definitely will try ;-) My friend also told me its great for your feet, she massage it into her feet, wrap them in a plastic , put on socks and goes to sleep and it the morning she has baby soft hills.
Olive oil also helps our dog, she had dry skin, i start add some oil into her food and it helped!

  6. I use what I like to call the Miracle Tub from Target for all my remover needs, including glitter. It's a scrubbing tub, but instead of your typical sponge, there are plastic bristles inside that scrub much better on your fingers. All you have to do is plunge your finger in and out of the tub until it's all gone. I've used other scrubbing tubs that do not work, but Target sells this beauty.

I talk more about it in one of my posts and would be happy to share the link if you'd like it!
